Could it be windows 10?

Continously uploading the stuff to install itself
on your computer when you least expect it . . .

Or, microsnot trying to figure out if you was a Trump
supporter by downloading and analyzing your hard drive.

(I'm just speculating.)

On my modem There is five places to put the cable from ya computer to the modem. I have mine in slot 1. The light blinks continually. This is a new thing. It used to only blink when I was uploading or downloading something. When I test the modem I get the following:

Details - Ip Check
Continuity check to 6rd BR fail

The modem is a VersaLink Model B90-755025-15. My ISP is bellsouth.net The folks who is spozed to help me with problems like this have moved and left no forwarding address. It's a giant cluster fuzzle involving mergers and splits and takeovers and blah blah blah. After a couple of hours I did get someone from Tora Bora to call me back. "What is your problem infidel?"

Anyway, I believe my modem is either broken or it has a virus if it is possible for a modem to get a virus.

...suggestions?
