...bunch of guys sitting in a bar and one of em starts to tell an OKIE joke. He is interrupted by a rather large guy. "I will have you know that I am from Oklahoma so if you are going to tell an okie joke ya either tell is slow or tell it twice.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
As a Texan, I always - ALWAYS - give Okies a hard time. My sister-in-law is an Okie and she has become immune over the past decades to the "abuse" I like to dish out regarding Oklahoma. However, that being said, Texans and Okies are brothers under the skin. My wife and I have started looking at property around Grand Lake of the Cherokees in northeastern Oklahoma as a possible retirement spot. It is quite beautiful up there. It would be exceedingly ironic if I ended up, after all these years, becoming a resident of Oklahoma.
