He NERVE GASSED or MUSTARD GASSED the KURDS who were Iraqi citizens. That is a WMD. That is and was a known fact. If you had enough for that, you have plenty more.... Somewhere.. Especially when you plenty of warheads sitting around just waiting to put something into them.....

While I will agree with the sites listed telling big,
bald faced lies . . . I must disagree with the concept
that 'Iraq had no WMD's'.
In order to believe that saddam had no WMD's, one must
believe that pesticides are harmless and that empty
chemical warheads are not really chemical warheads.
And I say this because large quantities of very poisonous
chemicals were found stored as if they were intended
to be used to fill chemical warheads. (A European lab
tested the chemicals and found ingredients consistent
with pesticides . . . then new York times columnist and
ace weapons specialist paul krugman decreed that those
toxic chemicals were just 'harmless pesticides'. And
I would be shocked to learn that you don't realize
that using pesticides is practicing chemical warfare
on insects.) And, they were found at multiple sites.
One news article I remember reading, said an Iraqi POW
led the guys to a camouflaged underground ammunition
storage bunker. Inside the bunker were multiple barrels
of chemicals. Guys who went into the bunker came out
sick - with symptoms consistent with exposure to a nerve agent.
There was another article I found detailing some fairly
new empty chemical warheads recovered in Iraq. Which
that other weapons specialist better known as OCU
decreed were not really chemical weapons because they
were empty.
Between the two wars (with Iraq) there were several
news article detailing how saddam would buy pesticide
manufacturing equipment that could be tweaked to make
a nerve agent suitable for chemical warfare (on people).
Lastly, saddam Hussein had plenty of time to ship things
he was afraid he might get caught with out of Iraq
before we invaded. And, there were articles claiming
he did that very thing.
Why would saddam have 'wanted' WMD's? As a deterrent
to a possible iranian invasion.
