re: "Good news is I turned her Son (my son in law) when he got in the family and he gets it."

I used to say that after a lifetime of trying, I had never successfully "turned" anyone. But maybe I did. A year ago, one of my son's former bandmates told me at an evening school event that he's the only conservative his age that he knows . . . and it's because of the things I explained to him when he was younger. Made me feel good, except that it bodes poorly for the next generation that nobody else he knows is conservative. (We are, however, in Fairfax Virginia... a virtual rats' next of liberalism. It's hard to find conservatives of ANY age.)

Maybe, to make an impact, it's important to get to 'em when they're young.

Well sir,

She didn't like it but she also did not open her mouth again either. This woman has been a lib all her life. Good news is I turned her Son (my son in law) when he got in the family and he gets it. So nobody interjected while I was teaching civics 101 to the typical uninformed and dumb liberal voter.

Don;t think she liked it at all but at least she shut up...
