good point De!
I lectured my inlaw after the election as she was saying that she thought the electoral college should be abolished because her candidate won the popular vote.
She thought it just wasn't fair. She then stated that this is a democracy.
I schooled this 70 year old air head for about three minutes.
1. It is not a democracy. It is a REPUBLIC.
2. We have an electoral college system in place to keep a few overly populated liberal playgrounds from stomping on the vast majority of America in terms of states, because otherwise, a few states could decide every election if not for the electoral college.
I also pointed out that ALL of the VOTES have NOT been counted. Absentee ballots run over 60 percent Republican and vast majority have not been counted, which means if they were, CLinton would not win the popular vote. That is a media falsehood being perpetrated upon people who do not know any better.
Anyway, I enjoyed your analysis!
