dg, I read once that the NY Times does things in "fits and starts." I guess that means it will take them awhile to get it right, if they're sincere. They have a long history to overcome.

I always thought my paper, Newsday, was pretty decent in its reporting. But they endorsed Clinton. I cancelled my paper. After cancelling, I saw that I get free online access because I have an Optimum account. And you can view the paper, intact and zoom in and print articles. Heh, I don't even have to throw out the papers anymore. Works for me.
