You'd have to be pretty stupid to think that Hillary would have won if the election had been based on the popular vote.

If it had been based on the popular vote, Trump would have STILL won. There are, after all, about 15 million disenfranchised conservatives in California who know there's no point in voting. And, if the popular vote was what mattered, Trump would have campaigned differently.

Regardless, it's water under the bridge. I'd have no problem with getting rid of the Electoral College. I think it's time to get rid of it. But I have a hunch that if you brought it up in a few weeks, Democrats would be opposed.
