...either the cops have screwed up big time or the reporter didn't get the story right. Resisting arrest is not a STAND ALONE charge. You must first be arrested for something. They can't just grab ya off the street and charge ya with resisting arrest. This is so fricken dumb that even keystone could maybe get ya off with a thousand years for it.
