Yes, I know about Thomas's mentor and surrogate father George Wythe. There's a book on Jefferson in one of my bathrooms. I've been reading it for about a year!
We're applying at William & Mary too. Last year, one of Joey's friends won a full 4-year free ride to William & Mary. She turned it down and went to Cornell. I told Joey that she'd made a mistake, imo. You ALWAYS take a free education if it's offered. Then use the money that's saved to get a master's degree. (Generally, I hear that the 4 year college you attend doesn't matter in the least if you go on and get a Masters degree. Only the last school you attend makes a significant impression on employers.)
But I'm not her family. Maybe they have more money than they know what to do with. Isn't it wonderful not to have THAT problem?
