Prominent liberal loses battle to keep Chris Wallace out of the debates

http://hotair.com/archives/2016/09/12/prominent-liberal-loses-battle-keep-chris-wallace-debates/

At the beginning of the month, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced the list of moderators for the upcoming televised battles between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. There was always going to be a certain amount of grousing over who was selected or, in many more cases, who wasn’t picked. While the final roster is hardly without controversy for both sides, one name in particular stuck out to David Brock, the founder of Media Matters for America and frequent script writer for Rachel Maddow. That was Fox News anchor Chris Wallace.

So disgruntled was Brock that he issued a demand to the commission, declaring that Wallace must be removed because of his previous professional relationship with Roger Ailes. (Politico)

. . .

For their part, the commission responded with a single paragraph essentially brushing Brock aside.

The Commission on Presidential Debates wrote in response to Brock’s letter with a one line response, saying simply they were “pleased” with their selection of moderators and “confident they will do a good job.”

Do any of you doubt that what Trump says is true? Or that Hillary will absolutely refuse to take such a test (using a neutral testing facility) before the next debate? There's no chance she will do that . . . because she's on drugs.

Trump Suggests Hillary Was on Drugs At St. Louis Debate

At a campaign rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on Saturday, Donald Trump wondered if his opponent has been taking drugs. To be completely sure, he suggested they take a drug test before Wednesday's third and final debate.

“I think we should take a drug test prior to the debate,” Mr. Trump told a crowd of thousands gathered in the parking lot of a Toyota dealership on a chilly afternoon.

He continued: “We should take a drug test prior, because I don’t know what’s going on with her. But at the beginning of her last debate — she was all pumped up at the beginning, and at the end it was like, ‘Oh, take me down.’ She could barely reach her car.”

Trump is also vigorously fighting back against new sexual assault allegations. The tally of female accusers has now risen to nine. However, the GOP nominee has denied the claims and pledged to move forward with a lawsuit against The New York Times for stoking the narrative that he is a sexual predator.
