Just wait until January - when California's minimum wage goes to $11. Shortly after, look for layoffs and business shutdowns to skyrocket.

That oughta put quite a damper on the number of Americans eating out.

I heard today that my brother's California business will be partially moving to Puerto Rico. I imagine if that works out, the whole thing will be gone in two years. As he put it, he has no choice. The minimum wage increase and the push to $15/hr by 2020 will make the business fail.

He employs more than 30 people.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

When it comes to one of America's favorite pastimes, eating out, the "recovery" fiction peddlers have finally won: according to the latest Restaurant sales data, not only has the number of Americans eating in restaurants tumbled, but restaurant operators are the gloomiest they have been about the state of their industry since the financial crisis.
