Yeah . . .
I tried to do the Windows update thingie . . .
and it just sat there for over an hour looking for
updates. I finally gave up and canceled it.

I had to restore my computer to it's original factory settings by reinstalling windows 7. Afterwards I tried to update windows 7 to the later version that I had been running. It goes for win 7 sp1 but additional updates after that won't download. I have read a lot on it and it seems that Microsoft is intentionally making it difficult to go back to windows 7.
