Micro> Can your motherboard accept more than one gig?

I'm sure that one will.
But, considering that I only run it once a week to do
some Access data base work (I keep one version of my
portfolio on it) I see no point in spending any money
on it. It does everything I need it to do in a
timely manner.

As Decomposed said, some of the older software works
better than the junque 'they' are peddling today. On
the XP box I have Microsoft Office 2000 . . . Once a
week I fire it up to do some database work. Then
back off for another week. The 'Office 10' stuff
they have me using at work is driving me nuts. Stuff
that used to be easy to find and do are difficult.
And help seems to no longer be just a keystroke away.

Zim.

It was. Can your motherboard accept more than one gig?

You are right, the Pentium D does have 2 cores.

If you could put TWP gigs of ram with that it would be a decent machine...
