My condolences Decomp!

Losing a parent is hard. You are in my prayers.

May your dad be enjoying the wonders of Heaven and the overwhelming LOVE of God, because as the Bible says, "God IS LOVE". All the accounts I have read of people who experienced near death experiences all have stated that they experiences such overwhelming love coming from
the "Being of Light". (God is LIGHT)

Amazing how all these accounts all line up with what we read in the Holy Scriptures.....

Enjoy the memories and all the good things about your dad.

ALL of us are mortal and human so all of us have things we have said or done that we are not proud of.

Forget those and cleave to the memories of your dear Father.

Look forward to seeing him again as He will be waiting for you at the Eastern Gate of the city of New Jersualem, along with the Lord Jesus and all your family and friends who have gone there before you..

Imagine what a great time he is having there now...

I envy him, and my mother, and my wife's parents and sister, and brother in law. Wish I was there.

May the Lord bless you and comfort you through this time is my prayer for you and your family!

God Bless,

micro....

My dad passed away a few hours ago. My son was on a trip, so my wife and I broke the news to him a few minutes ago when he returned. He took it well. We traded some of our favorite memories and thought about the things my father had done over his long and wonderful life . . . including motivating Joey to learn piano when he was just two.

Joey asked me if I was okay. I said I was. Then he went into the music room and began to softly play his grandpa's favorite song, 'Ave Maria.' I'd been dry all day, but that finally got the waterworks going.
