Yep, because of all the violence we've seen at the Tea Parties. Very scary group.
Did I tell you that I spoke at a Tea Party a friend invited me to a few years ago? My friend did compliment me on my talk given that it was entirely unplanned yet still had a start, a middle and a conclusion.
Anyway, they'd challenged the audience to participate at an open microphone and I just thought 'What the hell, why not?'
I wasn't very good, but at least I gave it a shot. I'd hate to be one of those people who talks but doesn't want to get involved. I wish more conservatives would do the same. Part of the reason that we're going down without a fight is that conservatives have been taught to be submissive.
