"Last month saw the publication of a paper that may be as important to our understanding of the Big Bang as was the detection of gravitational waves. A team from the Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics in China has made the first rigorous mathematical proof that the Big Bang could have spontaneously generated from nothing"

http://blogs.scientificamerican.com/guest-blog/is-all-the-universe-from-nothing/

It certainly is according to Mr Physics & Mr Evolution...Krauss &
Dawkins & hence the Mathematical Proof.....

So a Jesuit priest rearranging Einsteins field equations,
basing his theory on Zero Observations or Experiments
just so happens to explain how the Universe was created??

We all have beliefs.........Smile

re: "Today Creation from Nothing is called Scientific Fact............"

No it's not. Until now, the only thing I've ever heard called "Scientific Fact" is Global Warming.

The Big Bang is a theory. And I've never heard it called "Creation from nothing." But since we learn about the early universe by measuring the Big Bang's aftermath, it doesn't seem likely that we'll be able to learn about what came before the Big Bang.

I have read about the spontaneous creation of particles that are usually unstable and promptly disappear again. There's some speculation that spontaneous creation of a STABLE particle in our empty universe may have created a distortion that caused a flood of particles (i.e. a "Big Bang") to happen, but that's just wild-assed conjecture. It's not part of the more widely accepted Big Bang Theory.
