It was implied in something else I read that the 28 sites all went down after the information leaked, presumably because of a 'Denial of Service.'
Normally, I'd follow "Denial of Service" with the word 'Attack.' In this case, I won't since it might have been an innocent event brought on by 6 billion people suddenly taking an interest.
