Just because Iowa had 11 wins last year does not mean they are great again this season. Their offense stank and their defense is average at best.

...if ya remember a tv show called COACH

...one of my favorite lines was when the new coach asked for a breakdown on the team from the old coach. "The bad news is that last year we went 0-11. The good news is that we got everybody back!"

College FUTZBALL !!!!

What a day of football !!!

UPSETS and BLOWOUTS.

As I predicted, the Louisville Cardinals team versus Florida State was all that I thought it would be.

The Louisville QB is really something everyone should watch in action. I have not seen a QB this talented and dangerous, EVER..... He is simply mind blowing and amazing all at the same time.

We will see what happens when they Play Clemson, but the team made mincemeat of Florida State yesterday and made it look EASY..... A scary team.

OHIO State! Destroyed Oklahoma AT Oklahoma. These are all a bunch of sophomores and red shirted freshmen. Except for the QB who is a JUNIOR.

They will only continue to keep getting better each game. The end of their schedule winds up with games against Michigan State followed by Michigan.

Anybody else want that schedule????

ALABAMA nearly gets beat by OLE MISS again and barely escapes at the end. Methinks Bama is vulnerable and not quite as invincible as many writers made them out to be in the preseason hype. They are GOOD. They are strong. But they are NOT unbeatable by any means. The Rebels showed that yesterday. They escaped defeat by the thinnest of margins..

The DAWGS of Georgia won handily. Ribit should be happy this morning.

NOTRE DAME went down to Sparty. Knew that was coming. This won't be the last loss for a very over rated Irish team....

LAstly,
let's hear it for the North Dakota State Bison!!!!
An FCS school, who was the national FCS champ last season, defeated a semi decent , yet much over rated Iowa football team.

Just because Iowa had 11 wins last year does not mean they are great again this season. Their offense stank and their defense is average at best.

That said, The BISON fought back for the win in the last second of the game with a winning field goal which if IOWA was half as good as the pollsters claim, should never have happened.

So The BISON deserve a special round of applause this morning!

Hope they repeat as champs in division FCS again this season....

Of note: Texas A&M looked good as did Arkansas. Auburn sucked, Tennessee squeeked against a BAD opponent, which shows how really average the Vols are, the PAC 12 was kind of boring. Stanford won if anyone cares..... McCaffrey ran wild again. That is the Cardinal 's only offense.... Shut him down, and you beat Stanford... A good defense will do that.

So that is it from the college football world on Saturday....
