I just posted the following to my Facebook page.

These days, news and editorial sites are extraordinarily skewed both in what and how they report, with many being little more than mouthpieces for one political view or the other. There doesn't seem to be any getting around this. If you want hope of gaining an honest picture, read or at least peruse sites on BOTH sides of the spectrum every day. It's eye opening.

I recommend (in no particular order): MSNBC (Left), CNN (Left), Drudgereport (Right), Politico (Left), Huffingtonpost (Left), Breitbart (Right), Freebeacon (Right), LewRockwell (Libertarian), NYTimes (Left), TownHall (Right), WSJ (Left), dailymail.co.uk (Britain), debka.com (Israel) - and pay attention to the reader feedback on the sites that permit feedback. (You might also want to ask yourself why so many news sites have disallowed reader feedback.) The comments frequently contain astute observations the authors chose to omit.

And if you folks can recommend any additional quality news sites, please let me know. I'd appreciate it.
