It was a good game through THREE full quarters against the number SIX ranked team in the country..
Only a SAFETY separated the two teams.
Then the fourth quarter came and Houston found their offensive rhythm and the game was over.
Great effort by the Bearcat football team against a bigger and better football team. Hopefully my Bearcats will play like this the remainder of the schedule and be in the top 25 with one loss.
It was fun until the fourth quarter. I predicted a 21 point loss and was off by TWO. Not bad.
Houston really is just that much better, however, I do not believe they are a top ten college team. Yes, they upset Oklahoma.
I do not believe they are going to upset any other top ten team or maybe even top 15 team. They got way too much bounce for that week one upset and played nobody in week two.
You will see the real Oklahoma team come Saturday when the Buckeyes roll into Norman, Oklahoma. I am sure the Sooners will be laying it all on the line. Should be a very good game as long as the very young Buckeyes get overwhelmed in the big show.... Hope not...
