Government 'allowed' Big Pharma to have a monopoly?

No, no. The rumor I heard, was that the FDA was going
to 'improve the quality of our drugs' by 'sole sourcing'
the drugs - In effect, the government was going to
re-monopolize the drugs. (Guaranteeing skyrocketing
prices.)
