There IS a real risk of epidemic. It's happened before and will happen again. It's one of many problem facing humanity.
Let me digress a bit.
My biggest beef with "Climate Change" isn't actually whether it is real. It is that, even if it IS real, it is overblown. It isn't our biggest problem. It isn't even close. And neither is epidemic.
Our biggest problem is OVERPOPULATION. Overpopulation is the main cause of Global warming AND Epidemic.
It is also the main cause of:
â–º Smog
â–º Plastics in the oceans (which is killing whales that ingest it)
â–º High noise levels in the oceans (which may be causing whales to beach themselves)
â–º War
â–º Rain Forest Depletion
â–º Old growth depletion
â–º Species' die-offs
â–º Starvation
â–º Water shortages
â–º Oil/Fuel shortages
â–º Oceanic dead spots
â–º Ozone hole depletion
â–º Acid rain
But the left doesn't consider overpopulation worth discussing. They would rather freak out about a side effect of it that might not even be real.
NOBODY I know of would argue that we don't have too many people on this planet. But the left gets all bent out of shape about the one thing the left and right DON'T agree on. They've even convinced themselves that it's humanity's biggest problem.
That's pretty bizarre, don't you think?
