Nor would I.

Unfortunately, my laptop is deteriorating (it's overheating) and will probably need to be replaced soon. I have a feeling that I won't find any Windows 7 or 8 units at Best Buy.

...windows ten didn't approve whenever I changed the program I wanted to open files in, and felt that it's right to change em to whatever they felt appropriate was none of my bidness.

...windows 10 also decided that the same hard drive I was using for win 7 had miraculously changed itself into a solid state drive and so ya couldn't defrag it.

...another program I use regularly is Norton Utilities and about half of it quit working when I upchucked to win 10. I cannot call windows 10 an upgrade.
