Last week saw me have my father life squaded to the hospital and then have a surgery which opened up a bile duct.
Low and behold, the surgeon told me, Pancreatic cancer? WHAT pancreatic cancer?
I saw no evidence of cancer at all. STONES were closing off the duct and I removed them. I took biopsies to be safe and they are negative for cancer.
Tuesday found a rehab center close to my house that is nice and he is now there for therapy. In the meantime, I now need to start evaluating his house, appraise it, and see about upgrading it. Sell it and get him here by or near us. Right now I cannot take care of him physically. He needs to walk again and gain control over incontinence which just started about two weeks ago.
I am hoping it was the poisonous BILE buildup in his liver. We'll see.
I need to get back to my work as well.
Anyway, been busy with dad and now looks like he wants to live over here near me and my brother and my daughter.
That should have happened five years ago...
Oh well.
