Dear Mr. ElBaradei,
I recently read in my newspaper where you were suggesting
that Israel rid itself of its nuclear stockpile.
I personally think that that would be a bad idea. Right
now, about the biggest reason Iran, Syria, and other assorted
terrorist mongering States don't assemble the Islamic version
of a Crusade, is the belief that if any such Islamic countries
were to raise such an Army - and said Army looked like it was
going to wipe out Israel -, that Israel would nuke the Capital
cities of those countries. The Ayatollah's know that and, in
spite of their blustery comments to the contrary, they are not
ready to die.
Why do I not object to the Israeli's having the bomb, but
strongly object to the likes of Hussein, Arafat, or Khadaffi
having one? Face it, the Israelis are not known for dropping
infidel airplanes out of the sky. The Israelis are not known
for shooting peoples not of their faith simply because they
are (insert your favorite group here). The Israeli's are not
known for blowing up busloads of women and children. In short,
it is rather unlikely that the Israele's are going to drop a
nuke on somebody just because they practice a funny religion.
In contrast, how much would you care to bet that Saddam
Hussein would not have dropped a nuke on Israel if he had had
one in 1990? Care to compute the odds that osama-bin-laden
would not nuke Washington D.C. if somebody was crazy enough to
give him a Bomb?
Zim.
