Britain will see its first trans cover model as Elle plasters her image on the front of an issue dedicated to icons of change.

Hari Nef will join other huge names on an impressive bill that includes former 1D member Zayn Malik and actresses Kristen Stewart and Amandla Stenberg.

Editors of the magazine said that the four names were on the tips of their tongues as soon as they decided on the theme of September's issue, and 23-year-old Hari felt 'absolutely right' for the front.
