Yes, that's typical of pancreatic cancer. My aunt was diagnosed with it back in the '70s and given a few months to live. She died about two weeks later. Very sad. She was only 50 or so.
I'm sure you've helped your father get his affairs in order. If they aren't, work on it quickly. Your siblings don't sound like the sort who will do the right thing if it's not in their interest.

I believe Dad will only have a few months to live. I suspect that we will bring Hospice into this picture in a short time and they provide CNA's as well as nurses and will help keep him "comfortable".
