Hospice is the way to go. They will keep him clean and out of pain as much as possible without extending the inevitable.

BTW: Ya can expect the folks who have done nothing to take care of him at all to criticize anything you do but not volunteer any labor or inconvenience on their part. They will also be sitting on the front row at the reading of the will.

Good info!

I believe Dad will only have a few months to live. I suspect that we will bring Hospice into this picture in a short time and they provide CNA's as well as nurses and will help keep him "comfortable".

Time will tell.
