IMHO slavery is one of the worst evils ever devised by the mind of man. That being said, let me point out that the folks who came here as slaves were slaves in their homeland and were sold by their fellow countrymen. They were not noble warriors out in the wild rounded up by white men.
...further, the descendants of those who came here as slaves are living better lives than the descendants of those who did not.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
