LOL. Emergency sleeping accommodations? That would be THE CAR!

I can't imagine any conditions that would prompt me to sleep in the car instead of hiking up the driveway to the house. Well, maybe if the wife kicks me out one day, but that's conjecture!

I'm figuring on erecting a carport near the street. If we ever find ourselves snowed in, we'll use that car until conditions improve.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Decomposed> What's got me the most worried is how to keep the driveway free of snow. It's hard enough for our van (2 wheel drive) to go up. There's no way we can drive down it when it's icy.

Hmmmm.
You might consider building a concrete block garage
down by the road . . . with 'emergency sleeping'
accommodations in case you are coming in from elsewhere
and find the driveway 'unclimbable'.
