It is getting to be typically humid and damp, wet heat that just lays on ya. Chattanooga is another place that reminds of this area, as does Houston.
I don't know about the southern states like Georgia, Bama, Mississippi, etc.
Like you, I am beginning to find certain things will bug me more than others, both politically and physically.
I do not deal well with heat and humidity. I prefer COLD and no humidity. But, we each were created individually and wondrously made after the likeness of our creator.
I managed to do something stupid over the week-end, and knew better, just wasn't thinking. HAd spine surgery a couple of years ago, lower four vertebrae.
Doc said don't lift over 20 pounds or you will wish you had not. Well, I did and he was right.
Funny how the older we get we seem to forget things or we seem to think it won't really happen. LOL!!!

This is a wonderful group of people here and I suspect many are familiar to you as well...
I am not a great researcher online and have not the time anyway, but do enjoy the perspectives of each individual, and they do vary..
