A deadly attack has hit France, with French media saying some 73 people have been killed. A truck rammed into a crowd leaving a fireworks display in the French Riviera town of Nice. Police and ambulances are on the scene and authorities have urged residents to stay indoors. There have also been unconfirmed reports of gunfire. An AFP reporter described seeing a white van driving at high speed onto the famed Promenade des Anglais as people were leaving after the annual Bastille Day celebrations.
Odd that the "terrorists" didn't bother to drive 8 miles up the road to Monaco, where they would have found plenty of elites to run down!
