If it's about Tricky Hillary, shouldn't the DOJ be making the announcement?

...maybe it should, but Lynch has declared herself out of the picture so if somebody else announces a null prosecution then she can remain crystal clean (like a used condom.

I suppose that if the recommendation is to NOT indict, then the DOJ may have preferred that the FBI call the meeting.

...our thinking coincides again!

In just 15 minutes, actually.

It seems a bit odd that the FBI director would be doing this. If it's about Tricky Hillary, shouldn't the DOJ be making the announcement?

I figure it must be good for Hillary. If the FBI recommended indictment, it would be up to the DOJ to decide whether they were going to actually indict. I suppose that if the recommendation is to NOT indict, then the DOJ may have preferred that the FBI call the meeting.

Or maybe it has nothing to do with the Clintons. It seems unlikely, but maybe the FBI has determined that ISIS is operating in the United States (SURPRISE!!!) and wants to warn us.
