We have a very old computer system still running on
Windows 2000 . . . finding a Server compatible with
W2K was problematic a few years ago . . .
Finding 'newer PC's' with drivers which can run
Windows 2000 is also becoming difficult. (If not impossible.)
Personally I'd rather stick with Windows 7.
(I'm running on Windows 10 . . . just too lazy to
switch back to Windows 7.)
(My other computer is still running XP. I really like XP.)
I've read enough to know that I don't want it at all. I'll go permanently to linux when Windows 10 is the only other choice left to me.
I also have a Windows 2000 install disk. If I go that route, I'll have to keep it off the internet. Windows 2000 is incredibly vulnerable. The device drives I'll need for Windows 2000 might not exist, though....
