When I was in the army in the late 1970's, that was
the 'methodology' - spray a LOT of bullets and try to
force the enemy to keep their heads down. A site
called 'Strategy Page' tells me that we've changed.
The Islamics 'spray and pray' while the GI's take more
single well aimed shots. (And, of course, there will
be exceptions . . . )

Single soldier versus one good hunter . . . yeah, the
hunter will take him out. One good hunter versus an
average company of soldiers . . . . That's always been
the way . . well trained soldiers operating as a unit.

From Roman Phalanx'es to Stryker battalions. The
soldiers who win have the best tech, tactics, and
numbers.

Hi Zim,

a couple of quick things:

I am not at all sure just how many actual soldiers would obey an unlawful order to kill American citizens.
I think the number would be small in comparison to the number of soldiers.

Next, we have long range hunting rifles which are pretty accurate at long ranges AND we have AR 15 and 14 and some even have full auto assault rifles.

DO not forget that there are many former active duty military types who still believe in a free America and would not join an oppression of the American citizens.

THIS is why it is the very end game of OBAMA and Clinton to DISARM every American so there can be NO RESISTANCE.

Of course, the same can be said for MANY RINO Progressives in Congress and Senate as well.

Anyway, just what I was thinking about in addition to George's quote.......
