That's a six month old article, but it's still a good one. Everyone knows Obama wants to press forward on more gun restrictions. Some liberals deny it, but they're either insincere or idiots. Or insincere idiots.
What Obama wants MOST is to connect the right to buy firearms to the no-fly list. Why? Because it gives the Executive Branch complete control over who can buy. After all, ANYONE can be put on a no fly list. The People don't know who maintains the list. We don't know who is on it. We don't know how you get on the list. We don't know how you get back off.
The bottom line is that the type of persecution the I.R.S. is now being raked over the coals for could now be done with impunity by the White House. It could throw every Tea Party group onto a "No gun purchases" list. It could do that with every hunter. It could do that with every Republican. Ultimately, it could do that with every American.
What a win that would be for totalitarianism.
If Obama enacts this, it's a sure bet that Tricky Hillary will keep it. Donald Trump might not, though, so let's hope and pray that he's the next President.
