Not so. They're legal. Maybe illegal in Florida, but not everywhere. They're legal in Virginia, f'rinstance. Godawful expensive and HEAVILY regulated, but not illegal.

Orlando Shooting
I heard a recording of the actual shooting on the idiot box while ago. The weapon was firing FULLY AUTOMATIC. Fully automatic weapons are illegal so it had to have been modified. Ya think he might have learned how to do that on one of his trips to Saudi Arabia???
