...in my humble but likely misguided opinion I believe that the aggressor has the advantage whether you are armed or not. The thing about a gun is that while you may be just as much a victim as the next guy, you will not have to stand idly by while a large thug has his way with someone else.

There's a world of difference between saying you're allowed to carry a sidearm on campus and saying you HAVE to.

I don't often carry one, but only because it's currently inconvenient for me. When I move to NH, I expect to have one on me more often than not. I haven't decided whether I want it concealed. Some say that carrying it visibly deters criminals. Others say it could actually attract them. IMO, the former is more likely. I mean, if I were going to rob or attack someone, would I go after the guy with the heat? Uh . . . lemme think. NO!
