We agree! That's precisely why I always keep my statements above board.
Bob was not angry with me for saying something "nasty." He was angry that clo was complaining to him about something "too personal" I'd written even though it was only a re-visitation of something the subject of my post had himself discussed. AtomicBobs is not a money-maker for Bob; far from it. Given that, he does not appreciate hassles or acting as psychologist-by-proxy for a 66-year-old (Almost 67. Happy Birthday!) busybody, when all he's done is to be good enough to provide us with a forum for chatting. Whiney phone calls are things neither he nor anyone else would appreciate.
I didn't write anything nasty and almost never have. You should know that. In fact, one of the more interesting aspects of the action clo took against me on FFFT3 is that I hadn't violated any of the board's rules even though others with ongoing membership HAD. Her explanation when she was asked what I'd done? I was "obnoxious."
I think you know this.
Perhaps the only time I've ever been nasty with someone on this forum was when an old "professorial" type you're familiar with began lying about me. When I pointed out that we could prove him to be a lying, he refused to put any money down (even if the gain would go to Bob) to back up his claims. At that point, I let loose on him and he skulked away. I think you remember.
But I strive to be civil, even when people don't particularly deserve it. That does NOT mean that there are topics I won't discuss. Hey, that falls into the realm of self-censorship and I won't do it.
Sorry.
No, I guess I'm not. I didn't do anything wrong.
