...the old somebody told me something and I can't tell you who it is story. I used to tell em that as far as I was concerned that if they couldn't tell me who said it they just made it up.
...when I got a promotion to a supervisor position I had a standing policy that if you wanted to snitch on somebody about something then you should come to my office with the individual and snitch on em in front of em.
...I also had an open door policy. If ya don't like the way I run things, the door is open, don't let it hit ya in the ass.
Perhaps that is why I didn't work out in that job.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
My former boss used to work for the FBI. (USED TO. GEE. I WONDER WHY NOT ANYMORE??) She'd call her staff into her office, (me, for instance), then just start tossing complete lies to see what would stick. After I denied the whole lot, she said, "Oh, well that's not what I've been told." So I asked her who was spying on me and she said, I kid you not, "I have sources who I trust."
Then I asked her who was supervising me, them or her. She didn't have an answer for that. I suggested that she reevaluate her "sources" since they've been lying to her and aren't my supervisor and left.
