The main issue I have, is that Sanders is an avowed Socialist. Look at Venezuala, or several other socialist countries, all of whom are in deep doo-doo, even more than we are with the socialist in charge for 8 years, and nincompoop for 8 years before that.
Vetrans as whole used to stand for the Constitutional Democratic Republic of the UNited States.
Soldiers do what they are ordered to do as long as it is not an unlawful directive, or one that is directly opposed to the Constitution.
Do soldiers LIKE to be shot at?
Well, mostly not, but it goes with the job. If you don;t like being shot at, don;t join the military.
I volunteered. I wanted to serve. I am proud I served.
I am better off because I served and went and am a combat veteran. I know what its like to be shot at during battle.
Did we like it?
Well, do you think any of the militia at Bunker Hill liked it???
Sometimes principle is more important than individual life. That's a hard concept for civilians.
It may just be a generational thing also regarding the soldiers who are for Sanders.
They want the United States to go away and become Sweden, Venezuela, every other third word crap hole???
The other stuff Crazy Bernie states that you posted does not matter if nobody here in the country can support that due to the impoverished state from socialist dictates.
The real question you should have asked is:
Would you DIE for Your country???
Would YOU defend an American citizen, even with your own life?
DO you stand for the founding principles and government of this nation or do you want to throw it all away due to a self proclaimed socialist/marxist???
