Precisely. In fact, I use the above as a cue to determine if a person is inherently conservative or liberal without asking him directly. If a person habitually refers to "feeling" things - as in in, "I feel the guy is a liar" - instead of, "I think the guy is a liar," - there's a high probability that he's liberal.
The test isn't perfect. It had me thinking DG was a liberal at one point. My new test is, "Does the person like CATS?"
