I noticed the GOP is not endorsing CRUZ and HAS not from day one. In fact, on day one in the Senate he was personna non grata, because he and Mike Lee were about the only ones who wanted to "get back to the Constitution".
I think you have missed it on Cruz because of the hack job done on about his borrowing money from that notorious, criminal bank called Goldman.

WHY did he borrow money there???
Because he was an insider at Goldman?

How about because his wife worked there, earning a living, and it was far easier to borrow money from a place where your spouse works.
Many times the simplest explanations are right, and in fact Ted verified this already.
Many are or were just too poisoned to see it.

No matter. Would just like to get FACTS straight, and not from loud mouth Trump who says ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, usually wrong, never admits it when it is found out, and then his followers all think whatever he said about someone is gospel truth.

Sure, Trump is a better choice over anything the Dems would put up. Heck, I could say that about the last election about Romney.

BUT, this notion that Cruz is somehow a Washington INSIDER, AN establishment person, when the GOP establishment HATE and despise him is clearly ABSURD and that is the argument I keep hearing both you and Zim make.

You are both wrong in THAT regard.

Do I want to bring the nation back to Constitutional level, undo the harm and chaous and instability that 8 years of Obama and COMPANY have done, including the RINOS in office? You bet your arse.....

I would like to see many who have have ill gotten gains and done things illegally receive their rewards in prison. I don't care who they are.None of them are above the same laws they RAM DOWN OUR THROATS and then exempt themselves from them...

THAT practice MUST be reversed retroactively imo. When the gangsters have to abide by the same laws they enact, maybe they will not be so quick to screw the American tax payers. That and the fact they will be prosecuted for wrongdoing.

We agree on many core values.

My argument with YOU and ZIM both is not about that.
WE are all three on the same page, including Ribs and DGP and Nemo on those core subjects.

Where we are not is WHO is Ted Cruz and what does he stand for? WHAT has been his past before the Senate?

When you read up on that, and see what he has stood for and his belief in the Constitution, so much so he can quote it to you without looking at the pages, you may begin to realize you fell for the hype and baloney by some trying to paint him as something he is not and never was, an "ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATE".

He WAS the ONLY politician running that was ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT. He was in Texas the go-to person for defending the Constitutional Laws that were assaulted by lower courts by going to the Supreme Court and winning those battles against those who would USURP and circumvent the Constitution. Five times no less.

In order to do that, one must actually know and be well versed in Constitutional Law.

Alan Derschowitz, chair of Harvard Law School had Cruz as a student. He stated categorically, (I heard him say it on the radio as well) that Ted Cruz was the brightest legal student he had ever had at Harvard.

And Alan is not conservative, but a flaming liberal, so this is most unusual praise coming from him....

I think your painting of Cruz as an establishment AND a lifetime politician is just dead wrong.

ALL that said, I do not care if Cruz loses to Trump.

I do not like the double standards, and I despise Trumps mouth and demeanor. But that is me.... I don't talk like that and would have washed my kids mouths with soap if they did.

"A haughty spirit and pride goeth before a fall." Donald should learn to have some humility and learn to be gracious when he wins and when he loses as well.

THAT is what bugs me. I hope I have given you a clearer picture. It is character assassination what you insinuate about Cruz and have not paid attention these past four years to who hates Cruz in the Senate and the PARTY GOP. That would be everyone except Mike Lee.

If he is an establishment guy, why does Mitch McConnell and 90 percent of all other republican senators HATE him so much?? It is not because he is buddies with the establishment rinos...

Okay, all for me today and from now on regarding this subject. I tried to make my point clear.

We are on same side.

my best,

micro... Very Happy Wink Cheesy Grin Thumbs Up

You guys have it wrong. Donald Trump is, pretty much by himself, outmaneuvering the combined and none-too-subtle forces of a national organization with thousands of professionals and billions of dollars at its disposal. The G.O.P. Establishment does not want Donald Trump. He threatens the Establishment's very existence.

The fact that Trump is going to be nominated anyway is astonishing, and I doubt anyone could possibly do what he's doing in any other way.

micro: I know you're upset that Trump seems to be playing dirty, but I think you're failing to recognize that ALL politicians play dirty. Unlike the others candidates, Trump does not have the luxury of a Super PAC to do dirty work for him. That's what Super PACs are all about - anonymous undermining, sullying and assassination of political opponents.

Without a Super PAC, Trump has to take everyone else down by himself. It's dirty work. Say what you want about him, but if you think he's stupid then you're wrong. He's clearly a genius, and we're watching him create his masterpiece. I'm sorry some of you are unable to appreciate that. One man. Versus a political party. And the man is winning! wow.
