De
I am an Ohio resident.
Trump stated emphatically this very morning on LIVE television that his voters would not vote for another republican candidate other than himself....
Ya know, before Trump through his proverbial hat in the ring as an afterthought, you know who was considered the party outsider??????
If you said Cruz, that would be the correct answer..
He is NON-ESTABLISHMENT despite contrary opinion.
Don't think so? Check with Rush. Or ALL the senators.
Cruz took on the Senate and Mitch McConnell. He is disliked by the vast majority because he is NOT in the good old boys club.
Anyway, is it okay for the non-Trump voters to aslo say they are staying home if they don;t get their way, like poor little Donald is saying would happen if he doesn't win... He's taking his baseball bat and voters and going home to sit this out....
Yeah, hard to believe this out of someone who wants to rescue and save the country from the socialists who are running on the other ticket... That's some party unity there now...

Re: ” does this also mean that all those TRUMPeters, voters, who said they would not vote for anyone else and stay home, ( a brilliant idea to give away the country to socialist/commie ) apply to them also???? “
I don’t understand your question. Could you rephrase it? Thanks.
Re: ” He simply NEVER understood HOW the actual delegates were apportioned. Those rules were there for all to see LAST YEAR. “
Like most non-politicians, Trump naively thought that the decision of who gets nominated is in the hands of voting Republicans. He didn’t realize the extent to which the system is weighted in favor of those that the Republican Establishment wants.
Just look at what the Republican Establishment did to Ron Paul in 2012 – ousting him from the convention with a rule enacted shortly beforehand for the specific purpose of ensuring that he couldn't influence the outcome. Is that corrupt? Oh, yeah. Unfair? Well, the rules allowed them to do it. I guess it wasn't unfair, then, was it?
In fact, the weighting toward TPTB-sanctioned candidates is so heavy that the Republican Establishment itself believed it inconceivable that the party would ever nominate someone who they didn’t control. Whoops! Chalk one up for the opponents of TPTB!
Now, that 2012 decision aimed at Ron Paul is hurting TPTB and helping Donald Trump. Good, I say! It serves 'em right.
Donald Trump views this sort of thing as ‘unfair.’ Well, he’s wrong. The system is fair even though it totally sucks, and that’s what he should be saying.
FORTUNATELY, Donald Trump has just opened a lot of people’s eyes to how corrupt and RIGGED the whole nominating process is. See? Trump is already having a positive, long-term effect on the party. Re: ” SO, should I do what TRUMP advocates and just stay home and give the election to Hillary?????? “
Sure. You’re from Michigan, right? I don’t think it’s a swing state. It was a 'Blue' state in 1992. And in 1996. And in 2000. and in 2004. And in 2008. And in 2012. You might as well face the fact: Michagan's electoral votes are going for Hillary Clinton (or Bernie Sanders if Hillary gets indicted) no matter how you vote.
Re: ” This is exactly what I do not like about Trump. He is like a child “
What’s more important to you? Behavior? Or results? Personally, I’d far rather have a crass, rude, politically-incorrect leader who makes good things happen than another smooth-talking, lying, backstabbing, career politician who’s in the pocket of special interest groups and banksters. We’ve gone that route over and over and over and over and over. I’m sick to death of it. It’s time to get someone in who thinks and acts differently. Trump says what he thinks. Like you or me, he often errs and sometimes (probably, though he's loathe to admit it) regrets it. But you know, I think that he’s REAL. I just can’t stand all the lies and fraud anymore, micro. Honestly, I’m to the point of thinking that for the good of the country, we should just throw every existing politician in the country in front of a firing squad. It would be a chaotic mess for a few weeks or months, but in the long run, we’d be SO much better off.
Do YOU want what we’ve been getting from our leaders to just go on and on? You’ll undoubtedly say ‘No!’ but, reading between the lines, it sure sounds like it. You want a non-establishment type who talks and acts like a smooth and shady politician. That ain’t gonna happen.
Okay, so here’s where I think we stand: Trump IS going to win the Republican nomination on the first ballot. If he has half a brain, and he does, he will change his approach dramatically. He’s smart enough to know that what worked with Republicans as a whole won’t work with women and Moderates, and these are the groups with which he needs to make inroads.
Now, though, he probably should. Hillary Clinton’s countless gaping flaws are well documented, but voters are imbeciles with practically no long-term memories. Donald Trump doesn’t need to assassinate Hillary Clinton’s character through name-calling. He can do it by just reminding voters over and over and over and over and over about the scandals associated with the Clinton clan. Over and over and over, telling the stories ad nauseum, until even the densest female and Moderate voters understand that a vote for Hillary is a vote for corruption, graft, rape, lies and power-grubbing. It’s a vote for selling out our country to special interests and Friends Of Hillary who are No Friends Of America.
If Donald Trump does this, he’ll win the election. Of course, he’s a New York City boy, and he may not have the discipline he needs to pull it off. I hope he can, though. While I don’t agree with many of Trump’s stated positions, I feel strongly that the nation needs a political revolution, and he’s the only candidate who might be able to pull that off. Otherwise, the Banking Gestapo is going to kill us all.
