Trump: If Hillary Clinton Were A Man, She Wouldn’t Even Get Five Percent of the Vote

Donald Trump remarked Tuesday night that all Hillary Clinton had going for her candidacy was that she is a woman, suggesting she would fail to get even five percent of the vote if she was a man.
In answering the final question he took at his press conference after sweeping five primary states, Trump assailed the woman he once donated money to, who also had a big night and is on the verge of clinching the Democratic nomination.
“I think the only card she has is the woman’s card,” Trump said. “She’s got nothing else going, and frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she’d get five percent of the vote.
“The only thing she’s got going is the woman’s card, and the beautiful thing is women don’t like her. OK? And look how well I did with women tonight.”
Trump rolled to wins in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Delaware, moving him closer to the magic 1,237 delegate number that would clinch the Republican nomination and avoid a contested convention.
Clinton captured all those states except for Rhode Island, which rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) won on the Democratic side. However, Clinton all but sealed the nomination with the successful evening.
