Wow. Bastings had one of the hardest hitting and completely negative presentations I've ever seen in an FDA panel. He totally dismaneled Sarepta's argument.
FORTUNATELY for investors, it's a 13 member panel, and Farkas is now speaking. The longer he talks, the better the chances. But . . . I'm no longer optimistic.

It's not going well. The FDA's Bastings is making a very strong argument that there is no sound evidence that the drug works. Sarepta could have done well-controlled testing and didn't. Its "evidence" has to do with how far patients can walk before and after treatment, but the assignment of placebos was not well controlled.
