The vast majority of the stores closing are all KMART.
Only a handfull of Sears stores.
That is interesting.
It is my business belief that Sears would do better by reducing its offerings of merchandise to those things that it does best at and actually attracts people to its stores.
The clothing departments can go. So can the shoes. Jewelry? Yeah, that too.
APPLIANCES, televisions and electronics, TOOLS, outdoor equipment and exercise equipment would primarily be what is left.
I also thing their tire stores were pretty good and competitive. I hated it when the one near me closed.
ALL of course is just MY opinion and I could be wrong.
