De, I have three freezers full of food
that were Mom's. Part of it probably
would not be good but if you get hungry
enough...

I also have some cans of food. I am just
finishing using some fancy coffee grounds
that are probably 10 years old or older.
I have some home made jelly that is older
that that. A few months back I opened one
and threw it away but ate the second one.
Some of us never throw anything away.

Me too. I have three months' of dehydrated food, and maybe another month's worth of MREs (that are now past their expiration dates.) I did finally buy a couple of boxes of heirloom vegetable seeds. They're supposed to last five years, so I'll definitely get them into the ground once I move. But they wouldn't help at all if a crisis were to happen today.
