ribit, ya should trade your 38 in
for a 357. It makes shooting 38
rounds like shooting a 22. Very Happy

...one other thing. If ya have a gun in ya vehicle, lock the doors even if you are only going to be gone for a coupld of seconds. It don't take a kid long to get in ya car, find ya gun and think it's a toy.

I have a carry permit and have had since they became required to have a gun in ya car. I have a S&W .38 revolver in it but have never needed it. The only time I carry a handgun on my person is if I am walking in the woods or fishing up some stream that ya can't navigate by boat. Ya can't tell when ya might run upon a snake or something that needs killing. A couple of years back there waw a married couple (college professors) who were killed by a pack of wild dogs. I suspect a shot from a handgun fired into the ground or a tree would have frightened them off.

BTW: Last I heard the Governor of Virgina vetoed a bill which would allow people with concealed carry permits from other states to carry in Va.
