...IMHO enough of the cruz voters would go for Trump to give him the number of required delegates if Cruz gets out. It is also possible that Cruz might be happy to be VP and make a deal with Trump.

...IMHO a lot of the Trump support is based on anti establishment feelings by the base. Cruz has been semi campaigning as a non establishment candidate also.

Out of curiosity, why do you think Ted Cruz is staying in the race? He's not going to get the number of delegates he needs to secure the nomination on the 1st ballot, and he's widely detested by the G.O.P. establishment so he won't get there on the 2nd or 3rd ballot either. He can't win, so why stay in?

Kasich I can understand. Everyone knows that the establishment loves him. He might just win if there's a 2nd round. (And maybe Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, too.) But not Cruz - unless there's more to his relationship with the G.O.P. establishment than meets the eye.

What do you think?
